Another tricky mission. On a first glance it is pretty straightforward: we have to defeat Govorov in 12 turns and occupy Stalingrad in 14. But... We occupied Stalingrad in 12 turns and where on earth is Govorov? Right,he is on the rim of the world rushing nowhere I don't know how to lure him out of his position therefore I was forced to spend all my resources to bomb him

Yeah I’m stuck in this campaign too due to govorov. For me this missions difficulty is even harder than east indies

Perhaps you need to take the southern city before stalingrad to provoke govorov into attacking

Perhaps you need to take the southern city before stalingrad to provoke govorov into attacking Probably you are right, but the downside of this strategy is that your allies are melt down before Stalingrad and this doesn't make our life easier...

Also out of curiosity stoic how is your progress so far in the campaigns,? I completed 4 Axis missions and 3 Allied missions. Since we don't have Pacific campaigns yet I don't see any reason to rush...

I've finished the allied campaigns with the exception of operation overlord and I'm currently at sealion in the axis and I've got to say, definitely one of the harder missions in the campaign. Also on a different note what is your general roster?

Do you have any tips for beating operation husky? I think that taking a town as soon as possible and deploying a heavy tank with KV6 and a heavy artillery with Katyusha is the key. Probably we need an admiral as well. I used Cunningham, but I think that Nimitz can be really helpful in some allied missions let alone Pacific.

Btw, even after taking a city south of Stalingrad Govorov didn't move. Luckily my generals were close enough to kill him.

Why Vatutin? The answer is very simple: I completed GoG classic and Pacific with Vatutin as my f2p general, I completed WC3 and WC4 with Vatutin. He is like a close relative to me I have funds to hire a couple of generals more, but I really like to understand first whom I need most...
