Currently saving for a second archer commander, I've heard that mithridates is overated and that I should for Octavian instead. Would like to hear a you guy's opinions on the matter. Mithridates is the best followed by Octavian. I had an Octavian VS Surena thread and Surena was rated badly. |

Mithridates, with this 9 stars in archer and a perfect skill set, cannot be overrated. His talent has a good synergy with his Advantage skill which make him the best candidate for Oration. It can be a pain fighting with Octavian when he commands Roman javelineer because of his Counterattack skill but that is only when he is on the enemy side. As a player, IMO, offensive is the key and that is the edge Mithridates has over Octavian (beside his hat). So Mithridates cannot be a wrong choice... so does Octavian... |

We had many battles here about our second Archer general (Mithridates is unarguably "a must have"). I am still believing that Drusus is better than Octavian. Simple kit but practically an MVP, imo. He's deadly even with simple archers,let alone horse archers or praetorians. As with Huo a simple crossbow is the best weapon for him,unless you don't have a lance.
