Almost won but but the first target you get was taken by Japanese I had Guadalcanal and the target after that and the two ports but I lost all of my land units.

you need good health for gen.
for coastal line use ships before advancing with land units.
ally will asist you well enough.
build more units when you can.
to take the port use ships+attack with them everything you can to make it easier for land units
