It all comes down to personal preference and special forces upgrades aren't necessary to beat the game but if I were to recommend a special force to prioritise I would recommend the katyusha and KV-6 since they're are the must upgrades |

If you are not so far ahead in the game, Wiking, Panzergrenadier, White Death, Jaeger, Prinz Eugen and Karl are pretty useful Axis upgrades, while you dont get too many good British units at the start (I upgraded Dragoon and french ARL medium tank, later Cossack)
