How do I clear this, I often just end up too weak to be able to take any city.

I land my paratroopers in Gelina but then when I split them up later, my army is too weak

I'm stuck as well.
Maybe we should land near the city where our American allies are landing?
This way we're in Graziani's path and have access to ALL the necessary facilities.
Summoning a KV-6 should be enough help the British.
The armoured forces summoned are to cover our American allies' advance into the center, then turn west onto Palermo.
In this case, since our allies are practically guaranteed to perish, we may consider taking their cities for the air assault on the target city West of Palermo.
Disclaimer: I've hired Patton and MacArthur already.

Disclaimer: I've hired Patton and MacArthur already. But should we support our allies, that are destined to fail our should we go our own way un-supported by our allies ? When I support my allies, I am too weak to go to Palermo and other minor cities, but when I go out on my own , I am too weak to go to the cities that my allies want ( such as Syracuse ) Either way I fail |

Generals used:freebies, Mountbatten on battleship (not really needed), govorov on summoned heavy artillery with katyusha, patton on summoned heavy tank with kv-6,
Guide: (is gonna be bad)
I used leclerc on the para to help the invasion forces, landing in the south city by campioni. then push north to where patton and bradley land. and spawn in a your best gens on katyusha and kv-6 heavy tank. i pushed north with my forces to take palermo then push to messina with patton and bradley, i also spawned a regular tank to put timonshenko on, to make sure the british take their city
