About, the virus, it is nowhere near as bad as the media would have you believe, with 80% of cases asymptomatic, and of the symptomatic cases with a 98% survival rate. In addition, it is not even as contagious or deadly as you might think, at least here in America. I mean yeah, that’s how the virus works anyway. MOST people get out of it fine all over the world, and yeah it’s less contagious than before if I’m understanding correctly. Doesn’t matter that much when the countrys response to the virus is THAT bad. ~2% death rate is still a lot of dead people when they have ~250 000 cases every day. |

No, 2% of the 20% who are symptomatic, which assuming everyone in India catches it (unlikely), leads to, in an Indian population of 1.4 billion, is 0.004%, or 56,000 dead, which is likely higher due to the relatively low living standards in India, we can raise to maybe 75,000 out of 1.4 bil. is 312,000 of the world population, 7.8 bil, which is very low for a world pandemic, if the entire world catches it. To put that into perspective, one out of every (approximately) 222 people died from COVID-19 as opposed to the second world war, if the entire world catches Covid-19

As many papers have already condemned it as an attack on democracy. I was horrified to read this news. Trump and only trump must be to blame it. It must be looked into carefully and all rowdies must be detained quickly. Idiot trump has brought nothing but four years of shame to America. I know what America is going through. Corona, elections, Don's Mob... it must be saddening to see your country in such a state. It is saddening indeed. Makes me not want to live here anymore. I've already been thinking heavily where I'd want to move if it came to that. Pretty much narrowed down to somewhere in Europe. And to really understand how significant this is, I never felt like this until that attack. |

He basically proposed the idea of herd immunity by infecting everyone. That would work with a vaccine but he said this long before the vaccines and made no mention of a vaccine... people refuse to see it but he is a special kind of stupid. |

But I know some darkness remains, with the trump's terrorists, the co-conspirators in Congress. Many of us are beginning to focus on 2022 to take full control of the Senate. Which I believe should be easy since trump has basically split the Republican party in two. The traditionals and the fascists. |
