This guide is going to be less in depth than my other ones, because with this mission it's more about the broad strokes than the minute details. This guide is going to be in 3 phases: Poznan defense, Lodz defense, Warsaw defense and retreat.
Poznan Defense (turns 1-3)
Poznan
Put Leclerc on your Armoured car, and turn it into a Dragoon Corps. Defend the city using the troops it starts with. Make sure there is always a unit in the city. Use your units strengths to your advantage (like using your dragoon when enemy healthbars are low to get extra hits, or using Leclerc's mountain fighting.)
Lodz
Turn your artillery into a motorized transport. Attack the enemy artillery with your artillery, a cavalry, and your anti-tank troop, and attack the northern most infantry with your other cavalry, and Juliusz on turn 1. You must build your 2 reinforcement infantry in Lodz and the area beside it in turn 1. Keep at least one unit in the city at all times, and attack the weaker units first to get them out of the way.
Lodz Defense (turns 4-6)
Poznan
This is the last time this side will be mentioned. Move these units towards Lodz to help defend it. Most importantly, move Leclerc directly towards Rundstedt to attack him.
Lodz
Move any units out of Lodz build zones onto the front line to attack enemy units, and build your Armoured car and tank reinforcements in those slots (I would suggest building your Armoured car in the slot next to the city so you are able to move it, and use the added damage to infantry to your advantage.) Use your generals to attack Rundstedt (those Armoured cars coming in handy again) and any other troops you have free. No matter HOW tempting it is, do not leave your city open. Even if it seems like no one can get in, I promise you, they will.
Warsaw Defense and Retreat (turns 7-victory)
Lodz
Move all units from Lodz eastwards to Warsaw to help strengthen the Defense.
Warsaw and surrounding area
When you gain control of these units on turn 7, make sure that you keep Warsaw defended. Destroy the enemy artillery, and then you're good. With your reinforcements from Lodz, the city shouldn't fall.
Retreating units
Move these guys down towards the extraction point as fast as you can, while avoiding enemy units.
This guide should bring you victory. If you have any questions about specific details, I'll be glad to answer them.
