Hi everyone this is my first guide so don't judge me too hard ahah...anyways
Generals used: Cunningham(double heavy artillery), Leclerc(tank near Lille OR first armoured car in sedan),MacArthur(four stacked inf with irish guards)
Tech: 2,3,1,2,0.
Reinforce: spawn all the ground unit but the last inf.
So the hardest goal IMO is to hold Sedan. The tactic is to maintain inf with enough health. With the armoured car try to destroy asap the heavy german artillery and then concentrate the fire against the tank and the armoured car. If you're lucky enough you'll cofuse the tank.
After that continue to replenish the infantry on the city and eventually you'll manage to hold sedan.
The second goal is less harder but guderian tend to flee when attacked. You should push him whit everything that you have apart from one or two unit that will guard Lille. After killing Guderian the rest is very doable.

MacArthur is not needed to perfect clear this. You only need Cunningham and Leclerc. Your tech does not need to be so high either. In fact, you don't even need any tech. If you know how to defend properly, you can defend Sedan, albeit at the cost of sacrificing Cunningham. Also, you can't buy MacArthur until you unlock the Pacific campaign, so by the time you get to Pacific, you should have already obtained Chuikov, Timoshenko, and Arnold. If you need more generals, one of them should be enough to complete the mission. If you have MacArthur and the tech levels that you have described, then the mission should be a breeze.

HangryBird, Cunningham is not necessary for defending Sedan. I spawn a Parachute Regiment infantry in it on turn 3.

HangryBird , Cunningham is not necessary for defending Sedan. I spawn a Parachute Regiment infantry in it on turn 3. Keep in mind, I had zero tech while doing this mission. If I had better tech, I probably could do it without Cunningham. I only used him because of his organization skill. |
