Because the Germans were being pushed back by the Russian Winter in the Eastern Front. But if you start that late, then Europe might become Communist.

If 1942, We would have reached Berlin before Russia(?) I don't understand that statement Hmm so here: In 1942, we would invade Africa, go for Italy while invading Northern France, then, 1943, we would advance through Southern France and hopefully, capture Paris, if successful, we would advance through the Benelux, through the Maginot line, through Western germany and arrive to Berlin as fast as possible.

Landing in Southern France? Interesting. Ok, next question - What if...Spain joined the Axis?

Landing in Southern France? Interesting. Ok, next question - What if...Spain joined the Axis? Well, then: The Spanish would have captured Gibraltar, they would have cut the supply lines to Egypt, it would have made British Africa more fragile, the Canary Islands would have been a base for sinking allied supply ships, Rommel would have conquered British Egypt, the Caucasus would have been under Axis control, battle of Kursk would never happen, capturing Moscow and Stalingrad would have succeeded, the UK’s position most likely would have become untenable, the Royal Family would have been in exile in Canada due to submission of the British Isles, Turkey would have joined Axis likely more than the Allies, the Americans may have had to wait until they had many more armored divisions completed before they even contemplated such an undertaking, American casualties would easily number in the millions, making their losses more to what the Soviet Union and Germany suffered during the war, and the B-29 would have flown to berlin and use another A-bomb on Berlin by Spring 1947 or 1948. In short term, the British Empire would have collapsed, the German would have victory in Russia, Turkey would have joined Axis, the Royal Family would have been in Canada, the African Front would have been succeeded by the Axis, Gibraltar would have been fallen, and the Atlantic would have been overflowing with U-Boats.

Woah! 1. How come Rommel would have captured British Africa? (Egypt to be specific?) Malta was still secure 2. How would the Caucasus be under Axis control? 3. Why wouldn't Kursk happen? 4. How would that influence the capturing of Moscow and Stalingrad? 5. Why would Britain surrender? 6. Which American undertaking are you talking about? And why would their casualities be in millions?

Because the Germans were being pushed back by the Russian Winter in the Eastern Front. I don't mean to offend or anything, but my eyes start to bleed when someone says Russian winter pushed the Germans.

And why would their casualities be in millions? 1. As Allied shipping would then have to take the trans-African route to supply Egyptian and North African possessions in general, and very likely would have starved Malta into surrendering. 2. Because Spain helped the Axis in the Atlantic and in Africa. 3. Because the Axis have Moscow and Stalingrad. 4. Because, Britain is no longer a threat. 5. Because with the loss of Iranian oil, increased U-boat activity in the Atlantic, and possibly being cut off from its biggest and by far most important colony, India. 6. An invasion of Europe. Because of the mighty power of the Axis

Well, other cities could have been successfully dropped by an A bomb is a higher possibilty.

Madrid would have fallen a few months later, and the axis morale would have been super low. Also an invasion of France would happen, invasion of Benelux soon after then invasion of Germany.
