Intro
Situation: you're surrounded by almost every single enemy power in Europe. You have a couple of good generals and some good troops, so there's that. On the other hand, it's challenge, so the hell in 1917 has been upgraded to super hell.
Generals I used:
-Straussenberg
-McArthur
-Beseler
-Ivanov
-Hindenburg
-Moltke
-Stonewall Jackson
-Herbert Plummer
-Hipper
-David Betty
PHASE 1 (Turn 20-ish)
-Defend Saint Petersburg AT ALL COSTS. I spawned Moltke on the tank and Jackson and Plummer on armored cars. Use air strikes to destroy the Soviet generals, especially the howitzer one.
-Spawn Ivanov in the howitzer near Radko. Push to the north.
-If possible, USSR should have capitulated here.
-Spawn Hindenburg in the howitzer in the Ottoman front. Play defensively, and then push back.
-Spawn Beseler in the howitzer in the south. Spawn Straussenberg and McArthur in the heavy machine gunners. Push to the balkans; at least two Balkan powers must survive and Bulgaria should fall. Join your allies and invade Austro-Hungarian Empire.
DONATE:
-Portugal (Spain will kick its rear otherwise. Spain is kinda OP here, unlike in regular 1917)
-Libya (Egypt. Strong enough in 1917 regular, even stronger here. If you're good enough to win in the Balkans, declare on Egypt turn 1. Libya has a better chance of surviving that way.
-USA (Gotta stall those Canadians and their friends)
PHASE 2 (Turn 20-50ish)
-USSR should be dead by now, and so should Austria-Hungary. Push into Germany.
-Capture Constantinople and Ottoman coastal cities, then defend from the onslaught.
-By the end of this phase, Europe should be clear except for the Ottomans. Push from France to America. (Germany will occupy parts of Spain). Don't forget to research technology for mobility of carriers.
-In America, USA should be on its last legs, with a spam from the north preparing to assault Southern America.
-Bribe any American powers out of the war. I bribed Mexico and Columbia out of the war.
DONATE:
-American powers, specifically Peru and Brazil.
-France
-Portugal
PHASE 3 (The rest)
-Push to Americas. Use airstrikes and push to Ottoman Empire.
NOTE (DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1917 REGULAR AND 1917 CHALLENGE)
-No, the Entente doesn't win America by default.
-Spain gets hella OP
-Egypt gets even more OP
-The Balkan powers are even more OP
-Britain, which usually helps in the Americas thus securing that front, does almost nothing of note.
