On the first thread: Ironically no one is the author of the very first thread, because that thing was a "welcome to the forum" auto generated message. So if you really want an answer then: It was a bot message  For the second point eeeeef is correct, the darth vader title has been around for so long it was decided not to change it because of that. It doesn't quite fit I know but at the time members liked it. Finall the 3rd point, "marshal" versus "marshall" spelling, both are valid and accepted language usage, some countries prefer to use one over the other that's all.

BTW Saltin , I think we need new moderators (just suggesting) because some of them like Netherfreek and Mountbatten have been offline for a really long time. Also, I think we even need to change the news in Home of the fan community. |

We didnt really have any EFC rules for a long time but we then we grew to the point where it was necessary to have to keep the peace between members.
For moderators we will most likely add staff at some point, we have enough hands on deck atm to maintain forum functions.
Yah a lot of the news items are outdated, if you want to contribute in this area please start a new thread just for that topic with suggested items or send me directly your ideas on what you would like the forum to feature and display.

We didnt really have any EFC rules for a long time but we then we grew to the point where it was necessary to have to keep the peace between members. Those two of more changes are needed to make the news accurate. |

Newsletter status is in limbo atm, until a resolution with the editors is found or unless we get new volunteers. The news item itself (forum function) I can fix myself. John Marston, he may or may not be inactive permanently depending on how things work out. Often times people take a break (or are forced to) and reflect then decide to give it a go again. The newsletter is a members driven project, it lives or die strictly depending on the membership but either way EFC drives on with or without it. You guys decide how it goes, by participating and creating it or not. |

K, just really quick I made some changes: -a few obsolete news got removed. -EW4 guides from John Marston and littlecorporal been added and also pinned. -Some old news mod beens removed. -Group Historic Society added. If you want to see more items just ask but be specific and give me a link if possible. |
