All my findings are from my testings Wow. Amazing. Your knowledge of the game is so deep ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ. Who knows that staring and exiting and starting the game and spending academy refreshes then gives Arnold? Really all my findings are inspired by a question in a discussion here in the board. littlecorporal had the idea that Arnold is maybe available directly at the start. And I check out everything that I don't know - all my life: The academy-board scrambles with playing, first academy is fix - there were not so many reproducable steps - and I test them all out. So I find the mechanisms of the game. |

Does the game start with 2 refreshes after you exit and come back or do you need to campaign a little?
I find it even more interesting that Arnold is available, but not immediately so, ie you have to work to find him. I thought he might have been available in the first shop.

Starting a new game, Arnold seems to come quite often in the academy. Nenadovic practical never! (I remember only once in all my playings) Most player oversee Arnold, to buy a first combat general. You have to play a few introduction missions, to buy Arnold. With this cheat, you can go for the princess (practical) without playing the campaign. |

My initial feeling came from my second restart playing a cash game. It seemed like at the beginning there was an unusual number of good trainers available. I think my first team was duomoriez, arnold, kutaisov, so that checks out that they are all immediately available.

For this reason I prooved my finding, with the latest CN-version, that I downloaded directly from EasyTech. You still had doubts, so I uninstalled my EW6 to have the space for another install : Even with the actual EW4 1.4.30 from the google-store: Duomirez is at start in the academy - with the cheat you can get directly Arnold. This behavior is with all uncracked android versions of EW4, always reproducible. Wich version do you have John Marston? (And where you got it from?) |

I changed my device recently, and so I test it under real circumstands:
The trick works, but 550π for Arnold requires a few days of watching ads or a few campaigns to collect.
The snair drum and war-horse are very important items for a fast conquests: 1200π and the 8th mission necessary.
It is not possible to get even Isabella without headquarter. Depending on the campaign, a nobility grind can overcome the lack of hq-bonus.
600 years with Arnold - the resources don't give more princess, and 4500π§ less, are still enough to get Maria.
But this means, if the target for a first conquest is Maria, it seems better for me, to do the first conquest at the start without any generals, I don't need Arnold.
And then, with the first class of princess: Two economy-trainer for fatima cost only 120π more than one Arnold.
Probably was my first impression correct - No generals only princess! I seems again for me the ideal way for EW4.

Nenadovic is in tier 2, it would be interesting if he is also available at the beginning.
My feeling is that Arnold is useful throughtout the game if you are playing multiple slots. Especially in the beginning when you are limited in cavalry generals, putting fatima in a capital wastes her 2 cav stars and her war master skill. You want her in the field building rank.

Why not go with Archduke J on double light cavalry? Similar movement, one less star, but able to capture facilities by himself. And Weiburg is a stable. Achduke J can enter fast enough Spain on a 3Hex moving Light Infantry. I believe on cavalary without Geography he will be too slow, to arrive in Moroccow on time. |
