It seems like France has a few different strategies that it runs in 1798. The speed run might be dependant on where the French generals go. I've played as Sardinia a few times long agoοΌbecause Sardinia goes last. Sometimes Marmot takes to the sea sometimes he heads up to England. It seems like every other country follows the same path each time. Ok I played the start of the Sardo conquest 1798: Another beautyfull example how the Generals are skilled for their role in the campaign or conquests. King β¬ Victor Amadeus III. of Sardegna (the conquest was planned as 1793) has only Architecture as active Skill - only by using his Achitecture I arrive to defend la isola and finally defeat Napoleon (R30+). Once in action the generals move quite mechanistic I think. Marmot for example moves every round vs. the closest target he finds, I believe. He will enter the sea if - I donΒ΄t move the privateer south, or - HRE don't build a unit in the city south of weilburg! - And building Is random ! once he advanced north, I move the privateer back to flank Napoleon. Such a simple solution! I would hide my privateer and just do a careful check of the movements every 5 turns. Once Marmot went all the way to Great Britain and I was convinced there were multiple scenarios. Perhaps several generals are programmed that wayοΌHoltze (HRE general) sometimes attacks NetherlandsοΌsometimes doesn't. Did Amadeus just stay in the capital and build?

Isn't Napoleon just going to wipe it out in short order? The only way I ever found to prevail as Sardinia was to leave it, steal from allies, build my power-base abroad and then come back and liberate the country later.

The trick is: On a new start (After installation) Dont play! Start EW4 Exit EW4 Start EW4 2 * Refresh in the academy: Arnold Interesting, it certainly seems different for my iphone though. My exact steps: 1. I download the app 2. I open the app 3. App has the white screen with easytech logo 4. The title page of the game is loaded 5. I quit the game 6. I reopen the game 7. Same as step 3 8. Same as step 4 9. I go to headquarters 10. I go to academy and straight up refresh once in the tier-1 generals 11. I get Arnold Tried it 2 times. Same results. I think for the first time Arnold was all the way left? not so sure. I'm not even sure if the arrangement matters. Note: The image above is my 2nd try.

Great that it works simmilar on the Iphone (just one Academy refresh - not two - right?). As much as I know is it not working on Android 64-Bit.
