If anyone wants a root version of game guardian ask me and I will give you the link. I better give the warning that Rooting does not work 100% and there are very small chances that your device may become unstable. It is better to go with the non root option. That is if you try to create your own root. My device doesn't allow me to access root so I uploaded this one.

My productivity toolsIf you are modding on your android device, I recommend additional to MT-Manager these apps: All tools are FOSS : Free Open Source Software. You can review and change the source-code. Be free to copy, share and modify all these Apps. Free! No ads! No tracker! These tools are from F-Droid: | | | AppManager Very useful tool for managing all apps and their apk's - extracting all installed apps (also system apps) - sharing apk's directly - starting and creating shortcuts to activities
| Taskbar Fast app switching / starting. Desktop feeling
| Calculator++ A small calculator that runs on top in a floating window. - no need to switch apps - can calculate with and convert octal- decimal- and hexadecimal numbers.
| ClipStack
Access your clipboard history. Perfect to make a list of links etc. Copy first all links and access them as a list. Sadly this tool willbe notupdated by the developer - but it works untill now.
| Krita
Programm for professional graphic work. Not for a small mobile, but with big!! phone or tablet, the best you can find on andoide.
This KDE software is aviable on all OS. Much better than fuzzing around with overpriced commercial products. Have a look if you are graphic designer.
| Termux Terminal app. Gives access to a Shell (like the command line and .bat for dos) Not really necessary, many tools come with a terminal: I use usualy MT's M-term, it has already a complete Bash-Shell with toybox. But the termux comes with the apt package installer from linux, this allows to install many (>1000) ported unix conole-tools, without the need of rooting your device!
| HexViewer A minimalistic binary files Viewer. - Allows replaycing of Bytes (Editing only - no Insert)
| Converter Pro A converter for everything - also Numbers. - the direct display of binary and hexadecimal values, can help to get a feeling for the different numeric systems. Sadly hex-values are displayed only as correct hex. You still have to swap the byte order for Little Endian.

The followng tools are from the g**gle -shop:
| | google | mirror | NMM Important: Use Version 1.9.8 (or higher) My editor.
Far the best editor for android I found. Multiple tabs, filemanager, terminal and a hex-editor Code-highlightning, regex-search, undo, toolbar, edit-protection, FOSS
Less 10MB but: It takes some time to understand all the different tools you get. Finding the NotepadMM after installation is the first adventure, but I don't know any similar good editor. And it has also a Hex-Editor on board! All without ads or tracker!
If you work with local files, MNN is the perfect combination to MT-Manager. The best: It remembers always your changes - you can edit a file without saving and never loose any changes, even if you come back after weeks.
| play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.mfile
| m.apkpure.com/a-file-explorer%EF%BC%88file-manager-text-editor%EF%BC%89/in.mfile
- It is better to download the tools with the F-Droid app. You will get also automatic updates. If you don't want to use the client: On the description page you find the updatedtd links.
I added Krita, but I think, it is for most modding on android probably a too big tool. Last ✏️ 2.Oct 21 [/quote]

I found a new tool: Quickedit. It works well for encoding, editing, and modding. Make sure to open it with MT manager and, click the save icon. Yes QuickEdit is one of the editors I have installed. A nice tool with the ability to open multiple files. For me MT needs an external editor: I can't use the MT-Filemangager and APK-tools, when I open one single text-file with MT. In the end I choose NMM because of the following features: - The NMM-editor never looses changes to open files. If Android is doing its memory cleanup or on a reset for instance, all other editors I know loose changes and Undo/Redo history.
- NMM has a really free configurable private toolbar with assignablekeyboard shortcuts (I use all the common CTRL-codes like Strg+S = safe, Strg+U/L Upper- and Lowercase, Ctrl-C/V/X etc.
- NMM has a multi-document Hex-Editor onboard !
- NMM and MT share big parts of the same GIT-code (Apart the missing MT-Inspector, the HEX-editor for example, is practical identical)
The latest versions of MT allow to assign idividual programms to be the default tool for filetypes: Click open with, select your tool/editor and long-press: a popup allows to Select your tool and Set as default opening method.

All I need is clean software without ADS. I know the hex-editor, and it is not worth to waste time on this tool. Switching off internet makes a blinking red bar. The NMM HexEditor works perfect. NMM and MT share the same codebase. The NMM HexEditor looks and feels like MT, with a multidocument interface and save just for NMM and the usefull inspector just for MT.

The nmm HexEditor works perfect (it is actually 90% the same codebase MT's HexViewer uses) Agreed, what we really need to do is remove the pre installed Google controls. Then we should not worry about ads.
