My answer - War Master is replacable 2. Medals can be spent elsewhere, especially trainers, each star gives +5 damage. 3. Why do you need Formation when you can place him on cavalry. Also, all skills are replaceable, except for banner.

ok...ok. You said - He has War Master, which is excellent, Banner has much potential, although expensive, Mobility is not bad at all If my calculations are correct, and Formation Master is also awesome. Regroup one Inf Trainer into him and his rank goes up 180%, as well as becoming a very strong Infantryman. State your calculation. War master is inferior to On War, which is accessible in Battle of the Nations. Minimum skill is completely useless, unless it can make the minimum equal to the maximum. Blucher is just an upgraded Wrede. 1. Mass fire is inferior to Snare Drum, but does that make it a bad skill? No! 2. It goes like this for a double Guard Cav: (instead of 4 to 10 base dmg, 5 to 10)*(6 as the formation coefficient)+(5 stars each equaling 5 dmg). Is that incorrect, and if it is, could you show me how it does work with some calculations of your own?

Is that incorrect, and if it is, could you show me how it does work with some calculations of your own? Mass fire is a pretty bad skill if you swap items and don't have 2 infantry combat items. It will eventually be useful but people usually don't get infantry items until very late in game. Hence in my analysis I said pick Dobeln instead of Oudinot if you are spending a lot. I think people typically grind for ranks. War Master is totally useless in a rank grind. If you want to get the ranks up during a normal gameplay then this skill offers an exchange that trades 20% of rankup speed for an open item slot. In a 999-1000 test, the unit dealt less than 999 damage so the minimum might not work at all. I'm not quite sure if that's due to some sort of evasion they missed or it's just the minimum being completely useless but let's assume it's not. The theoretical minimum of all unit is 1, and it gets replaced by either the unit minimum or the general stars *5. Since the minimum does NOT get multiplied by the formation coefficient, it's 5 vs 25, so the latter becomes the minimum. The theoretical maximum is the sum of the general stars * 5 and the maximum multiplied by the coefficient. So the only case it would work (if it does) is you have an untouched Franquemont or Fontanelli and you put him on Prussian or Austrian heavy cavalry.

I will add, if your general has max rank and nobility, mass fire and the snare drum often dont even come into play.
