He was definitely best allied general but not best of ww2. Yeah but Zhukov > Chuikov/Konev Indeed he is better than any allied general of ww2.

Not large chunks of Russia, he just took a road and chased the Russians and reached Moscow and then retreated due to heavy losses among his troops. Caught me there He did that with almost every nation but difference was that those nations were defeated in a decisive battle and their rulers accepted defeat but Alexander I was not going to let that happen again.

Most of Europe was against Napoleon then. It was strong indeed but only Prussians,British, Dutch, Hanover, Brunswick and Nassau( in decreasing order according to troops provided) fought Waterloo.

Im more for the storyline, and how they view history. For example, WC3 was way too focused on Asia, and all the wrong battles, and in the Cold War, three Middle East campaigns is a bit excessive. I would love it if Slim had some part with the Battle Of Imphal, (Asia's own El Alamein), and the Siege Of Mandalay (Asia's own third campaign through the Escarpment). Yes, I do like simplicity, but you must understand, I grew up on WC3. It was the only Easytech game I played for a while, and I started branching out after finding these forums. Easytech games have evolved in such a way that each game I play seems new and completely different. I dont think it's my mental capacity, because I started playing GoG3, and genuinely enjoyed it, it's just imma have to get used to WC4. I personally dislike the RL outcome of Battle of Imphal. You have to understand that the troops that went through it, endured harsh monsoon rains that made it almost impossible to move supplies. It was the amount of suffering that could match Stalingrad, but what do you not like about Slim's victory? He stopped the Japanese from getting into India, and counterattacked with mechanized forces in the wet season, which seemed impossible when you look at it.

The world has become so (don't know exactly what to put here)that instead of respecting the best commander of WW2, they take someone inferior to them. He was definitely best allied general but not best of ww2. here's what happened: While Zhukov was managing Leningrad and Moscow (the counterattacks, not the defense), Chuikov was holding Stalingrad from Paulus' forces. While Paulus isnt the most brilliant tactician, he had numbers on his side, and yet Chuikov held with "Hugging Tactics," where he would defend from positions so close to the enemy, it was impossible for them to get any rest from the millions of pillboxes made out of the ruined shells of factories in Stalingrad. Zhukov merely got the forces together to initiate Operation Kutuzov (I think it was Operation Kutuzov), which was a counterattack pincer movement to encircle Paulus' forces. He invented the bright idea of giving the Germans a taste of their own medicine, but that was mainly it, besides Khalkin-Gol. When Konev and Chuikov were in Berlin, they relayed news back to Zhukov, who told it to the public, and therefore gained all the credit for Berlin. He may have been the best general, but many of his ideas were simply copypasta. His only victory that he had truly scored of his own accord, was Khalkin-Gol

I cant rhyme Chuikov. His performance saved Stalingrad. He took Berlin. That is all I have to say to make Chuikov instantly more likeable. Hahahahaha*dies of laughter* *Comes back from dead* Did you know that I conquered Spain, Holy Roman Empire, Prussia, Northern Italy and Large chunks of Russia. And Chuikov? Huh! Stalingrad and Berlin *Hahahahaha* I'd like to see you at Waterloo, I'm sure Wellington would like a piece of you. We all have major victories and major defeats. Even Zhukov the literal god on Easytech had his share. Anyone know about the Winter Offensive? That happened, and while Timoshenko lead it, he at least knew it was doomed. They had the manpower, but Soviet troops were on bullets per day.
