Wait I have a question, seeing how tech live 55544 is for North Africa, does that means the North African campaign will be very difficult if my tech level is lower? Because I'm really struggling with it despite using non-free generals. Oh no, don't let this discourage you. Those are just the tech limits that prevent me from just overloading on tech. If you have good gens, you can do this with 3/4 level tech. I was able to get through North Africa with 3/4 tech with just the free gens except for Operation Vulcan, which is really hard. That mission was the only reason why I raised some of my tech levels to 5. |

Ah it's ok Charles Huntziger . If you don't think anything is right, you needn't impose it on others. Now just stop that. You can admire a game. But that dosen't mean others too agree on it  Also,Β HangryBird and eeeeef, don't take it seriously. I've already had some with that guy who has excellent debating skills  I'm trying my best not to take it seriously but his arguments are just to put it bluntly ignorant and dumb that I can't help being a little frustrated. I am currently doing this challenge with the exception that I am not using any generals at all and I have made some good progress, right now I am at pacific war 1942 and I haven't gone over the upgrade limits, if your curious to know my current tech and special forces tech as well let me know, otherwise good job on your attempt to trying to get as far as possible with the challenge you set yourself up to hopefully you can find a way to defeat kleist on that mission you are struggling at bro. Hi all, I'm still alive. Anyway, here's an update on the challenge. I took a break from playing GoG3 and recently got back into it. The game has been updated and with that, comes a new rule: No General or Marshal Badges allowed. Just like promoting generals and special forces, this kind of upgrade was not present at the start of the game, which is why it isn't allowed. Another thing I'd like to say is that this challenge does not apply to elite battles, as they also were not present at the start of the game. It wouldn't be much of a challenge to beat Poland with the tech and special force levels I currently have when Poland is unlocked after clearing 1939 Western Front. Lastly, I'm going to extend the challenge and see if I can perfect clear the entirety of the campaign with just free generals. I just perfect cleared Defense of Tunisia on the Axis side. I'm confident with some more time, I can get the entirety of Western Front 1944 perfect cleared.
