I am about to get 1000 medal bonus once I finish the Cold War, but I'm just wondering, since Bock is a bit heavier in price than Vatutin, could he actually be better? From how i've played Bock, he has an equal balance of survivability and firepower. That supply skill I find is really useful for him, and while Model is overpriced, and List is out of question, I was wondering whether Bock would be a good alternative over Vatutin. I was also wondering if Monty was worth it, so you could have a hybrid air/tank general, which would save you the cost of Goring, and Rommel, who is about 300 cheaper than Guderian, and I who also has a special place in my heart, after being so dam annoying when his third wave comes to wipe me out when I survived 4 different generals, including Manstein in 1939 Belgium. I would like your opinion on this, because I want to have some sort of variety over the Guderian/Govorov/Goring/Yamamoto skill mold.

I also do not recommend vatutin, as he is too slow. Rommel is a good option due to his ace forces. Monty not so much, as his output is really weak

Guderian-Govorov-Patton, before you consider any other general for endgame. Bock's damage is simply not good enough. Montgomery's aerial ability is great but him as a tank general is quite bad.

I understand your reason for Monty, but Bock has always never failed to impress me whenever I use him in Germany 1939. He was actually more successful than Manstein. He works magic in a regular tank, but I see where you are coming from. I used him mainly to defend Brussels from the French and British counterattack that eventually happens once you defeat the Low Countries, and held off against DeGaulle, Petain, and Wavell. He seems really good at defending things for his survivability, but poor in everything else.

He is essentially Erich von Manstein with better survivability when staying in a city.
