For New-Britain, clear it later, it's not an important enough mission to waste so much time on it when, if you return to it later, you can prefect clear it in one way. Also Timoshenko and Leclerc+Chuikov is all you need for Kokoda And what about those difficult challenge missions. * clear them later on, you shouldn't buy a gen for a single mission but because he is a good investment in the long-term. Especially in this game where you can't sell your gens, prefering long-term is essential.

Vatutin works well in long term! I still use him in 1945! He will work well long term but loses value as heavies become more common, investment in a Roko/Monty is much more recommended (imo) because they work well for a long time, don't cost too much and will deals tons upon tons of dmg. I'm not saying Vatutin is bad, I'm just saying he's not the best when compared to the heavy duo.

And I have no use for both Rokossovsky and Montgomery.

I think it's just better if one had a heavy that is versatile (such as Monty) than a gen that will lose value overtime, Vatin can be good early but once you get to "44" and you have a heavy and Patton, he isn't as good as he used to.

He is still good. I still use him on KV-6, he is still weapon of Mass Destruction.

I voted for MacArthur, Roko and Monty personally. These are my personal reasonings why they are the most over-rated.
Monty is overrated cause he is in actual fact terrible. He is expensive and has 2 useless skills.
Roko is a tad overrated because you would use Patton for Mediums and Vatutin for Heavies. Both Patton and Vatutin output on their tanks are just better. Also Vatutin on the KV6 one-shots infantry in 45 (with lvl6 + max KV6) and Roko cannot and he has Anti-Armor to cover for non-infantry so yes, like others have said, weapon of Mass Destruction.
I think MacArthur is the best Infantry General. But I think he is a tad over-rated for the fact that everyone on this board thinks you need him to perfect clear the Allies campaign and I had no problems with using Vasilevsky.

Monty has one useless skill, Roko is, yeah, Inferior to anyone, and when I say MacArthur is necessary, I am using hyperbolic speech. I don't actually think that MacArthur is necessary. Just ask HangryBird.

I am more concerned about Pound :D How on earth can he be overrated :D How can you be overrated when you suck? Pound is a B-tec Cunningham, if you want a cheap allied admiral go with Spruance aka Nimitz jr.
