,Has anyone been able to perfect this mission? I got close a few times, but I was never able to move fast enough. If you could make a guide that would be great. I'm currently trying to fill up the whole library with perfect clear guides, and this one is giving me some trouble.

It seems easytech has problems balancing this mission in every game. Also, I didn't know the accept option was a thing, I did that on accident lol.

Except GoG 3 of course, where it was pretty well balanced, and then got turned into a literal pushover.

Stuck with a 2* clear here. Maybe a gen might help?
For tech, economy, inf and air should be strengthened in this descending order of priority, IMO.

Completed 5 stars! No eyes: Colonel Financial Center: 2 No other general used I have screenshots (proof of completion, not as guide) but am not sure how to post I was close to a 5* clear with a similar position. As your arty sink the Norwegian navy by the Danish airport, your other troops are to board troop carriers. The light and assault inf must be at sea by now. Spawn one sub and move it to counter the British navy. If you can spam mechanised inf in the Danish city, do so until the first turn when you lack the money. Your tanks and one mechanised inf will move up the sea tiles towards Oslo. The light tank and one mechanised inf must seize the airport and move on to attack the British. Holt will take Haarkon out. Commander your arty will hit Kristenland from the east and mow the defenders down. The other troops are to land between the Norwegian coastal cities. Take the SW city if immediately possible. Otherwise, send your mechanised inf and armoured car to knock the British out. The rest will stall the Norwegians. The field arty will provide support from the sea. Quickly advance on the last cities.
After playing a few Chinese GOG: Pacific campaigns, I got used to bypassing or flanking defence lines.

After playing a few Chinese GOG: Pacific campaigns, I got used to bypassing or flanking defence lines. Quite surprised to see you stuck at 5-starring this one, I had cleared it with upgrade progress identical to notfinnish. However, I do understand why you failed: 1) Navy in classic is trash unlike in Pacific, so you shouldn’t build any when there’s no absolute need or fund is short. 2) Positioning your artilleries east or directly south (or anywhere between) of Kristiansund is a bad decision, as you will need them to deal with the Royal Navy when Dönetz is still alive and bombard the SW city aka Stavanger, the faster they can start doing these after you captured Kristiansund the better. Preferably, you should build an extra field artillery at the start. 3) Landing from where the Royal Navy would always be is totally wrong, since you are letting the RN practicing gunnery on your landing force for free and Holt usually land east of Kristiansund, you are simply not helping anyone on your side. 4) Stavanger is the least important victory point, so you should never ever use anything that move more than 2 tiles per round on it, bombard it with artilleries and overran it with assault inf spammed from Kristiansund. 5) To take Bergen, you will need to force Alexander leaving it to an inf, so unless you already saw him moving around in the mid tank before you reach the outskirts of the city (which ideally you shouldn’t), all armors must head to Bergen and start attacking since round 13.
