After some testing, I have found that the amount of economy you get per turn in army group mode is equal to the sum of economy outputs times two. Then, add the bonus granted by a general with Economics if there are any. So, a city with a +6 output and a city with +5 output would give you 22 economy. Economics would make that 25 or 28 economy. The amount of technology you get per turn is equal to the amount of cities + 5. Then, add the bonus granted by laboratories if there are any. So, 6 cities would give you 11 technology. 3 Laboratories would make that 14 technology. I also found that the skill Economics in army group is very bugged, in both good and bad ways. The good news is that Economics actually works in every tile, even if its not a building. You can get the bonus even if the general is occupying a sea tile. The bad news is that economics only works for some generals. I haven't tested Chennault and Portal, but economics seems to work for Badoglio, but not Gamelin.
