This is one of my first guides here. I know bitter did a guide for UK 1950, It's just I wanted to give my input on the easiest 1950 country to play.
UK 1950
Asia
You are in a bit of a compromising situation in South Asia, having barely any troops. Your best bet is to build a nuke in London, really early in the game, and then nuke Bangkok using Singapore. Send all of your original units in the British Isles to Africa. Using Auchinleck and Slim in Europe is a death sentence. Early game should be mainly focused on Asia.
After you defeat Thailand, start spamming heavy tanks up to North Burma, to liberate the captured ROC territory, as well as capture Chongking. After that, capturing Wuhan and Hong Kong should come easy. Chongqing has a lvl 3 airport, so you can use that for everything except for Shanghai, Peking, and Taipei. These will have to be captured with land forces, and will be the three hardest cities to take.
Meanwhile, try not to use all your money building nukes and start building units to defend the UK. I find that dealing with one front at a time usually doesn’t result in an economic crisis. Let the Soviet Generals come to you. Don’t bother defending FRance. If France takes care of themselves, then good. If not, that means more fighting, but also more money for you. The UK in 1950 is impossible to land and actually hold without an excessive use of strategic weapons. There will be paraspam, but if you were sensible enough to use Super Tanks and Field Artillery, then they will pose no threat. There will be some good generals in Europe, but that’s what the nukes are for after you have established a proper hold on China.
Egypt will inevitably fall. Nasser has nerves of steel, even in an Armored Car, but Cairo will eventually fall. Iraq will pose as a problem, but once you have the airport in Baghdad, then Tehran, and Ankara will fall accordingly.
Meanwhile, in EastAsia, you should have nuked Peking after acquiring either Taipei or Shanghai. This will open the path to Changchun, the last good Chinese city. No need to send land forces to Khabarovsk, as no nearby land forces will threaten you, and it should be good to leave it empty. Start capturing Korea, and then Japan. Both times I played this conquest, the Canadians had Tokyo, and Yokohama. You only need to capture Sapporo, and Osaka, maybe Alaska as well. The US seem to be able to take care of themselves when you are a 3* 1950 country. Congratulations, you beat Asia without having to deal with massive clouds of Paraspam!
Europe:
After the Soviet attacks stop, it’s time to get back captured land. Budyonny is an OK infantry general but he sucks on a Super Tank, and he will probably be in Paris. Deal with him with your leftover defense forces. Paris and Brussels will be hard to hold, but once you capture Amsterdam and Copenhagen, the paraspam should stop. Europe is a much easier place to deal with paraspam than Central Asia. After this, strafe out Stockholm and Oslo, so you can start dealing with Eastern Europe. Riga, Minsk, Warsaw, Kiev, and Moscow will all have to be nuked. After this, it’s just a matter of holding those cities, until the force in the middle east rendezvous’ with you at Krakow, and just cleaning up Central Asia. The last Chinese city you capture should be Dihua. The last Soviet city you capture should be Almaty.
