If a multi player version had a function to text other players it would become extremely interesting. Allies could coordinate attacks or even switch sides to join the winning team! Only the iOS ones knew the features BTW, why does ET put more efforts for the Apple OS? Is it the dominant one in China? Easy (the old company name) started developing for IPad and IOS. EW1-EW4 were first released for Apple devices.

The main bug EW4 has, and the only one that's important, is the tendency to lose everything unpredictably if your device crashes and causes the app to have a fit. It seriously needs a formal save file somewhere on the device that records everything, and can regenerate it if a reinstall is required or if the device breaks and a new one must be purchased.

That you are loosing the headquarter.sav is an extreme pitty and rare. I really destructed the game, and crashed it tousands of times. There is only one second, where I can loose the old process, only when the headquarter is opened and this fails. This is exactly when google-games or so are requested. A too restricted (imo: perfect) security settings can cause probs. I deactivate google. The non accessable headquarter.sav is ET's IAP-protection. I don't believe that ET will never will add an save outside your reach (cloud) for EW4. If you loose the device ... that's the system. Why not to play a free mod? (my EW4 .1 mod)

Maybe in conquest mode, If you defeat enemy's capital, you can negotiate their surrender. They get their capital back and all, but they become neutral after that. But it would cost money and medals maybe? Maybe conquest would be too easy then π€.
Also, Imagine having passive generals, who wouldn't fight, but instead, would boost economy, army performance, or something like that. They would be placed in cities, but wouldn't fight, neither would they be assigned to troops. When city falls, their effects would be negated.

On your first point, that thing would change the entire dynamics of the game as getting Victoria and Lan would be ridiculously easier. On your second point, you basically mean EW5 Princesses

All in all, I like it, but as John Marston said, it would make getting princesses way too easy. Perhaps weaken these princesses if that occurs.

Historically capitals make sense. Conquests would be more fun if there were country wide drops in morale when the capital falls. Capturing their resources would also be interesting.

So basically EW6:1914 for the morale? I believe Gerd von Rundstedt ment the passive generals, that you can deploy on a city are simmilar to princess in EW6. The countrywide morale-drop for loosing the capital, is a nice idea and imo part of EW4, but not used in the conquests.

Making land units vulnerable, when placed on ship transports. Would give more challenge in many cases, but also heps against AI landings

Would give more challenge in many cases, but also heps against AI landings Land units loose 20% of their attack when on transportship, but no health thats right. With a commander, the -20% can be avoided with the Sailor skill or the Armored Carrier item.

For me - 1. Removing Academy refresh because people dislike EW4 due to it being the main reason. 2. Since Academy refresh is removed, Generals will be made more expensive, not that much of WC3 3. Maybe giving 6 general slots? 4. Destroying forts not necessary for winning conquest If thereβs no refresh, does that mean you canβt buy trainers multiple times?

Welcome sohpiasimp, 'Removing academy refreshes' means in this context: having unlimited spins in the academy lottery, without the need to eliminate enemies for the next spin; so you can select any commander you want, like in othher ET games.

Ah, I see. Thank for the explanation and the welcome. Itβs nice to see such a community for a game but I thought it was not popular.
