Guide for all WWII Save The Ally Missions

In this scenario, you play as Germany and you have to protect Mannerheim.
There is a line of Light Infantry. Hook to the south of it, ignore Leningrad, and start helping Mannerheim against the first few Soviet generals. This should be easy, as Mannerheim is the best defending infantry general in the game. Now comes the real threat after you clear the rest of the generals out: Shaposhnikov. Mannerheim is a fantastic general, but he’ll have taken a few hits, and when Shaposhnikov comes charging at him, he can stand no longer. So shield Mannerheim from Shaposhnikov, like you would usually do in Save The Ally. Just don’t let Shaposhnikov near him.

Now you are in northern Burma. You have to defend a motorized infantry Wingate in Mandalay against a surplus of Japanese generals. Don’t use fighter jets. Not yet, anyway. It is important that your generals have health in this one, because it is solely not letting Yamashita and Terauchi near Wingate. Yamashita is going to attack in the West, where the cheap infantry is usually going to be, so best to equip a fireman general on one of those.

You are playing as the Italians defending Paulus in Stalingrad. First thing you do is head to the north to defeat Vatutin and that cluster of Soviet generals ready to bear down on Paulus. They will get distracted by you, and will eventually fall. Now move your troops up to the Caspian Sea, to get rid of the Soviet Battleship targeting Paulus. This is where the real threat is. Get its health down so that it can’t score too many fatal hits

Now you are defending Monty who just Market Gardened himself next to Rundstedt. Rundstedt is going to take off a lot of his health, but here’s the deal. You must advance with Monty. Kluge is going to be a problem for your troops landing, but Monty is the priority. Use regular StA tactics and you should be good on this one.

You are in the exact same area, except that there’s less actually good German generals, and your allies are useless af. Defeat Meyer on the first round, and then focus the rest of your attack on the Super Tank Model. The key is to not let Kreuger take too much damage, because half of his health will inevitably be lost anyway thanks to Greim’s missiles. If you were able to save a substantial amount of Kreuger’s health, then form a guard around him, again, like regular rescue the ally style, and brace yourself for the onslaught of German generals from the south, and the onslaught from your allies in the north.

Pure hell. You get no city. Your AI is useless af, and you don’t get your much needed field artillery. Put Badoglio in the carrier. Bomb MacArthur, if you have Guderian put him in the Super Tank. Even then, it’s going to get missiled until it dies. Move your navy to stop the USA from getting near the coast, and hope for the best. I still have not finished this mission, so good luck.
