As the title says, what is your favorite country/empire/community in the history of the world. The choice is literally infinite so don't go with the ol' "My homeland because blablabla" give concret examples and I hope no one will mention Israel/Palestine or else I'll probably have ot dlt the thread.
I have 2 favourites one would be Chile and the other would be Anarchist Catalonia (Cnt-Fai)
Chile because of the uniqueness of the country, the friendliness and the culture of the people. It's a very nice place and people are headstrong and yet not mean/individualistic.
Anarchist Catalonia because 1. I'm an anarchist-syndicalist 2. Because what they accomplished within the middle of a Civil War is remarquable

None. Because none are devoid of sufferings. If really I had to pick one, then 1918 - 1929 America because of the production boom (I could have become rich )

And that period started in 20s not from 1918

post war Turkey. I would like to be there to see a nation thrive without having to be an empire. Anarchist Spain. The closest any government has gotten to an anarchist utopia.
