I'd say if an admiral can't move 3 grids on battleships then he's useless. for me, it's not all about speed. Sometimes speed can be your undoing, and the marching boost on naval units are next to nothing. Movement on subs isn't that big of a deal but on battleships I think it is, especially in the likes of breakthrough 8.

I know, wise men do not bluff. Full vessel do not makes any unnecessary sound.

I'm going to be a lot less online than usual, but I'm thinking of adding Ushijima and Sun Liren next week. Sun isn't terrible, if you know how to use jungles.

Next two: Ushijima and Sun Liren Sun Liren is a bad purchase compared to Peng or Vasilevsky, but he shines in his own way. His output is frightening. Bayonet Charge, lvl 4 Jungle Fighting, and 3* infantry. This is more of a pimped out Crerar, with high mobility. If you use Timoshenko as a panzer general, then Sun will be a great infantry general when looking for jungles. Good for people who use the terrain bonuses to their advantage.
Ushijima Also a general for output. Investing in health is a big thing though, and Kuribayashi would be a cheaper job. The real eye catching thing is that level 4 bayonet charge. Not so much on other skills as sailor is useless on anything but naval units, but bayonet charge is up there with tide of iron and plain fighting, so if you are looking for output over survivability, this is your guy.

A surprisingly overlooked yet popular general: the artillery EC!
A colonel with 3* arty, 3* move, 3* PF, 2* Barrage, 2* Explosives, and 2* Ace costs 3200, which is only 100 above Konev. Spend another 240 and he has 3* infantry. Why even bother getting Konev then?

I bought Liang too early because I wanted a general to hold down the Egyptian front in Sea Road :/ that was before I realized infantry general have terrible survivability. I'll do Liang next time, and I'm not too big on EC's.

I like fletcher too. 4 navy stars, 4 air stars, and very good naval perks makes him a great purchase. Lvl 3 wolfpack makes Fletcher very hard hitting

Underrated Generals
Clark - Look at him. 4 inf stars and lvl 3 explosives destroys cities. He can be great on navy. Lvl 2 bayonet charge is great like on Konev. And he is a very good city defender. Lastly, he is a decent admiral.
Student - Cheaper Clark but can definitely make a difference in campaigns.
Devers - Op af on a Super tank
Rokossovsky - only general that can get nuked and brush it off like it was nothing. Plus massive hp and movement makes him a good choice for super tanks.

For some reason I don't like him that much, while his expense insults the likes of Timoshenko. I don't want a Kreuger, and a Timoshenko with less mobility for over 3000 medals. I just don't like him for a price and i'm breaking my own rule by talking about price :). Devers will also be included in cheap generals and will be a great addition to my endgame lineup. As for Clark, i'm not a fan of hybrids. He's an admiral, an inf./arty gen, and a city smasher. He will be useful on only arty, as submarines and infantry are nohwhere near survivable, and battleships lose their attack average much quicker than other units, and even on arty he will just be Chung with explosives.

Rokossovsky is overly expensive I agree. But in cold war, his massive health, shelter, tide of iron, and healing will protect him. Anytime Rokossovsky gets nuked or bombed, he’ll walk it off. He is more of a fun general to use than a good one lol

That Clark on an Australian City (probably Melbourne) who single handedly hold my whole army at the end of 1939 conquest and who defeated a lot of battleships and heals 12 to the city damage every round? Annoying. Student is not worth as a cheaper Clark. He has absolutely no survival skill. He gets defeated easily.
