Hello all, as you probably already know ET is based out of China, it is still unknown the exact city. (I think Shanghai)
anyway I’m going to talk about the story of EasyTech’s CCP problems. To the best of my knowledge I am compiling this information. When EasyTech made the first game, Parking Star, had no controversy, so we move up to their first smash hit that involved ww2 and the Cold War, World Conqueror 3. It is still of shock to me how this game is available in China due to one mission, Allies 8, Far East Campaign. This level involves you as the ROC taking Manchuria. The CCP took note and they had to pay a hefty fine and they promised to remove China from any missions. This backfired against the CCP when in the 1950 conquest for WC3 and 4 they added Taiwan. This is why we can’t have Chinese Generals in these games, or China at all sometimes.
