War factury is the place where you can buy components needed for your personal unit upgrades:  either by gold or medals  this is whatyou can buynow.. Maybe other stuff willbe there if you buy it ( i dont know yet), at the second war factory in africa you can buy other recources  africa  |

Laboratory 2 to grade the units to 3star units is unlocked in middle east after 4 campaigns. You use the green chips for this upgrade... More strategic use of this will be also probably better strategy then I do (spend them when I can). Something you can already work on netherfreek  Teh greenchips can be traded in market if you are lucky  |

So one chip sells at a rate of 13 medals since 650/50=13 ?

Tip for buying cards: till midle east. I didnt need them but if i hadbought cards especially those with paratroper/extra oil/healing/satelite/ green diamonds are handy
Especially the units. Out of oil will happen now and then
If you are further: the cards in north america are great,

I want to add that in war factory or tac center you can buy components and cards with gold or medals. A reason to use medals for it can be to buy other stuff. using medals different and better stuff can be bought!I did not do this myself since I only use medals for grading my generals
