I can't beat either of these missions. In Desert Warfare I can beat all the subconditions but I can't get to the French city(Benghazi?) in time and My troops get overrun at Tobruk.
In Operation Husky I can take Gela easily but once Graziani shows up I tend to get wrecked pretty swiftly.
My Generals are Macarthur, Rokossovsky, Timoshenko(in Desert Warfare), Cunningham(In Op. Husky), Chuikov, Leclerc(Husky only).
My tech is 3/5/3/1/2

I put cunningham on the big battleship. Put chuikov and my maxed out katyusha on the heavy arty. Put my roko on a heavy kv-6. Put my alexander on my max cossack division. To kill graziani I used my katyusha. It has 3 range(max) and gives massive damage to tanks. Btw you must hide your poor inf towards montys landing site so that graziani wont kill them. Give paratrooper skill to all infs and rush the mid german city. Take it immediately then crush palermo and that city close to it.(dont forget to dispatch a legion for messina otherwise time will run out. Edit: I recently did it so I remember my pathway. |

This doesn't seem like the Husky I have to do? Start off with 3 airborne infantry and 2 boats, take 6 spots? I haven't figured this one out. Allies die quickly. Patton just goes on a suicide run

Patton just goes on a suicide run Husky is not that hard. Your allies are very helpful (the brits, not patton) as long as you clear the landing zone first. I used MacArthur to do that. You have to rely heavily on reinforcements though, so I just stuck to the coast for a few turns until I had the heavy tank and artillery (KV-6+Katyusha). You should have a heavy tank gen, so put that gen on the KV-6 and Chuikov (or Govorov if you have him) on the Katyusha. Then, just defeat Graziani and march to palermo+the city to the left of the screen of palermo. For me, my allies took Syracuse, Catania and Messina with minimal support (besides clearing out the landing zone). |

When Grazani attacks, hide on the coast to take advantage of your navy. Chuikov should do most of the damage to Grazani while the rest of your troops take care of the rest of Grazani's army.
