Mountbatten is an excellent Navy General, and Vasilevsky is the second best Allied inf. 1. Mountbatten is far inferior against nimitz. 2. I see you got vasilevysky as a second inf gen. 3. Vatution is not endgame and roko is better.( Kv-6 cant be used well with vatutin. Problem is not speed, KV-6 has +5 speed buff. The problem is vatutins trash skill set. Silver Desperate is a useless skill at al unlike wc4. His ToI İS great but he has silver Anti-armor. While roko has gold anti armor and PL which is a must have for HT

While roko has gold anti armor and PL which is a must have for HT 1. Not Far Inferior. Torpedo Expert 1 is about as good as Naval Gun Strike 2. It gives +6 damage attack and counterattack, while naval gun strike is +12 damage attack. Logistics is better than Ace Forces, and Destroy, I agree, Is worse than Wolfpack, although it is still an excellent skill. Stars are about equal. 2. Yup. 3. Again, it was a mistake, but desperate is as good as Machinist, (-10 morale every counterattack), ToI is slightly worse than PL, Stars are better, Silver Anti-Armor is as useless as gold Anti-Armor because you will be attacking infantry with HTs. PL is nice, yes, which is why I would prefer Monty, but I am fine with Vatutin.

I remember this mission, it is quite tricky. You have to be quick, or Japanese reinforcements come and your land units are in big trouble. Yamashita is somewhere here, so your main goal is to disembark your troops as soon as possible. I recall I lost Nimitz because he was forced to fight alone. Good news is that your land units after destroying Yamashita are moving relatively comfortable upwards. And you can use an airfield here to take the last key target. Or you can cross the channel, since the city was attacked earlier by our allies and therefore is only lightly defended. Bad news is that waters might be controlled by Japanese vessels. Or not. It depends on how our allies dealt with situation. Terauchi was killed by allies, so, a bit of help was welcomed.

The route through island is the nearest way anyway, plus additional income won't hurt...

They didn't come to Terauchi, Terauchi had come to them He tried to defend the key town and was killed by warships. I think it is possible to sent your remaining vessels after disembarkation (if there are any) to help them too.
