Could someone explain to me what the Alcala Gate and the Primatial Cathedra effect, 'Firing characteristic of artillery/ships increase by 25%" does? I've tested them multiple times but I still can't understand their effects. Thanks.

What I think is happening here is Alcala Gate increases the trigger chance of the Bombard ability while Primatial Cathedral does it for Artillery

I'm not 100% sure about alaca gate, but my artillery gens do more damage after I capture and repair the primatial cathedral.

Maybe it is the suppress (cannot fight back) characteristic.
