Thanks guderian I mean Boris obviously Boris... I beat winter war siege of Leningrad Barbarossa north battle of Smolensk operation typhoon and now I am stuck in Barbarossa middle any help or advice not to be massacred in the target city after smolensk and my extra troops in gomel (please no tricks or jokes)

Case Blue missions should be open. I didn't even attempt Barbarossa North until I got to Tarawa in the Pacific Campaign. |

Used Messe (2X Panther), Bock (2X Prince Eugen) and Model (3X Wilking). Had lvl 6 tech in inf, tank, arty and air.
The mission's strategy is simple: attack in a straight line and occupy the four main cities in a row. Send a small force to assist in the attack on Gomel may speed up its occupation. I'm unsure if assisting in the attack on Gomel is even needed.
At its height, I deployed Messe on a 2X Panther, Model on 3X Wilking, one 3X motorised inf and one 2X armoured car to attack towards Gomel.
When the path is clear and the enemies present seem manageable, move your armour northward to assist in the attack on Tula.
All remaining troops are to march on the other cities.
Keep your formation tight to prevent the isolation and destruction of units. By Turn 5, you should have started accumulating resources. Use them to stack and heal as needed. Keep your troops' HP high.
Near the end, local heavy arty, inf and armoured car formations may try to disrupt the Smolensk-Tula line. Keep some spare troops to hold the line.
Avoid attacking other cities unnecessarily.
Prepare an inf unit with Paratroopers or Special Forces paratroopers. The enemy AA inf is at the SW tile by the city. Eliminate this AA gun and the unit in the city, send your paratrooper in and end the mission.
