It is the day Gerd von Rundstedt will depart from the forums for the summer...and I would like to tribute this forum thread to him

You were a great friend Gerdy, and you helped me grow in this forum. It will feel...empty without you. Of course there will always be John Marston, but it won't be the same without you as the figurehead of contrarian opinions and the Historical Society. Of course Nappy and @vonmanstein77 will take good care of the group, but there will be a hole that you had filled since december...or maybe earlier lol I came on the forum in Februrary.
Mostly, thank you for your support. While I didn't agree with you most of the time, you are still a fun and interesting person to talk to.
