Welcome to my first EW4 guide! If you have seen my WC3 guides, then you know how this works out. I am not here to tell you how to get princesses as that is dam near impossible for countries that have less than 7 generals, but how to finish this quickly, and efficiently.
Overview
You have a bunch of troops in the Atlantic, among them are generals Ferdinand (Actually a pretty reliable infantry general), Another crappy infantry general whose name I will not grace, and Sockolnicki (a surprisingly good artillery general and will be your life and sould of the early section of this conquest). For generals, I used Galvez (pretty crappy), and Kutaisov (a pretty good artillery general).
First Landings
Your troops are just off the coast of the Delmarva Peninsula. Don't let that fool you! Ignore it and immediately head south to Yorktown! Why? the American's main fighting force is in between New York, and Washington, but south of Washington is completely empty, giving you free space to let Sockolnicki for ham on Jackson in Washington. Capping Washington early is vital to your success. There will be a line infantry that will spawn when threatened in Yorktown. Do not overexert force, because the Americans will just keep deploying the same line infantry unit. You must land Sockolnicki and Ferdinand as soon as possible. The Dutch Navy is usual unmerciful when it comes to Sockolnicki. Your frigates must not engage with Verhuell or any other ship. They must block them from reaching Sockolnicki, who is somewhat isolated and open for attack on a rocket. If Socky can't land with more than half of his health, then restart. He needs the punch to knock Jackson out in 4 rounds or less.
Your Best Friend, and your Worst Enemy
Corplanter will charge suicidally at Jackson. While this is not the best form of attack, you can save him by attacking simultaneously, and Socky and Cornplanter will become a dynamic duo assaulting up to New York. He also helps keep Jackson on edge, making his annoying health regeneration less effective. Around the time this conquest is beginning, the word "Dearborn" will drive you into a fit of anger. The idea? He follows Cornplanter! However, when he gets to Washington, he realizes that Cornplanter has ditched him for the hot new Sockolnicki, and will go all-out yandere on Socky. Keep Ferdinand and the other general as a guard of Socky. Also, don't overextend yourself. Take the factory and stable south of Washington, and keep a unit on it, because YanDearborn will also try to strangle Socky indirectly. Dearest Born will eventually wear himself out, like when the eldest brother gets tired of torturing you, and keel over to die, or just randomly sit somewhere, and do nothing.
Got Washington? Good. Now Start Runnin'
Start Grindin' as well. MacDonald and Greene will be saviours for the advance north. The North is ready to fall, and the only thing you need to worry about is the west. Send Ferdinand, the unremarkable general, and Kutaisov on double heavy arty to Nashville. Hopefully you get there before the French spamming starts. I hope to dear god you have. Jourdan and the two Perignons will be a problem, but once them and Bennigsen fall, the West is open to your capture.
Naval Battles
There is a great chance that Duckworth went to the most useless area he possibly could have, and done nothing all the while tanking a massive amount of damage, losing you the Atlantic War....for now. Capture Baltimore, and once you have enough money spam frigates for Verhuell. Remember he is actually a pretty decent naval general, so he'll need some and a bit.
Fall Of Russia
Russia will also have spammed quite a bit. Capture Fort Dearborn and put a double heavy cavalry Wilhelm III on there. (no need to overstretch you limited treasury) make hell for the Russians. Once you fight through their waves of cheap units, they will be the cat you hate, showing their belly. NO REMORSE. Spawn fortress killing grenadiers out of St. Louis, to clean up, while the rest give the Russian Navy (or what remains) hell.
Cleaning Up The East
now time for the dreadful push into Augusta. Not very dreadful, unless the British lost Kingston and Montreal like "the helpful little chaps they are" If you are having trouble, you can alwayssteal use Cleveland, and get Cotton and Palafox. Two amazing generals. They will quickly mop up the map for you, and congratualtions...you have won!
