Say what you like, but I prefer my princesses to be 5-star in their area of strength and in movement. But Diez is relatively rare in the HQ, and if I find a cheaper trainer that boosts a princess up, I will always use him if I have plenty of spare medals. I currently have the war horse and snare drum so that's no problem.Β Finding the correct unit and path is less intuitive for me. It's easy to HEAR that, not necessarily easy to SEE it on the battlefield. I always make it a point to play campaigns with the princesses, because it increases their rank through doing damage if nothing else.Β You are right, upgrading is a great boost and if you have already enough medals from your conquests, why not. But you should have the necessary items. In hre for example there some missions for 3 artillery comander, if you can share there a +4 or +6 powder this helps lot. Finding the walkthrough: Start with Fatima, she usually has her light infantry and then she is hopping from upgrade to upgrade versus the trading point - her unit and way is relative easy to find. The other princess are not this easy to decide, but rockets are normally for Isabella and so on - I know it is not this easy. The ideal path is plastered with the defense structures but you need the movement items. I did not find it for all missions - maybe for half of them, but once you find it, these missions can be done easy as 5star-victory -x, without any save/load. I just want to repeat once - study the plan in the beginning, this is essential for the mssions in any case. And - enjoy !

Around 225/420β you need for this try to get 850 years. As you probably will do another attempt to squeeze out a few rounds, what seems more easily than winning 16 or more campaigns, keep again an eye on your RSS. This is the main key for scoring and you did it so excellent that even round 38 could be fast enough. (9711π§ is the minimum for 850years/R38) Update: I did some campaign grinding just to get me into the swing of that and also to farm medals, and now I am up to around 210 campaign stars. Every few campaign missions, I've been replaying the save to see if I crossed the barrier. When I do, I'll let you know. I also tried to repeat the HRE attempt with some changes, but several things went badly wrong and I decided to abandon it. I decided to see what would happen if Sophia was on the siege artillery near Oldenburg but Marmont went into northern Italy and killed my heavy artillery. At that point I lost the grip on the battle. I should have just created another one in Vienna East and sent it down there as soon as I had Marmont boxed up with militia, but I completely overlooked the following two facts: a) If the only thing left is the defending general in Rome, he can generate enough food per turn by trading to sustain his unit, AND... b) Even if Rome were not a trading city, the general in question is Balabio, and he has Logistics so he cannot be starved into paralysis. For the next try, I am going to put Isabella on the artillery that goes to Rome. That way, if Marmont tries to interfere again he won't face so easy a target (Isabella can move faster), and I'll have a brutal pulverizer with which to kill Balabio and also tackle Napoleon if he decides to park himself on a French farm (which is something that doesn't seem to happen in the Baidu speedrun).

Great pathdoc, for me are the campaign rewards the best source for getting medals and you are already very close to Victoria - really nice. I believe AI is not traiding ressources at all, or at least not intelligent, otherwise it would not spam forts if it has a traiding possibility. Even in Istanbul is an exchance, but you can starve them out.

Even in Istanbul is an exchange, but you can starve them out. ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ, that's a good point! Right now I'm on the North America Landings mission of the HRE campaign and wondering how the hell I am ever going to get that done in 20 rounds. I also need to go back and redo the Balkan War mission. I got four stars for it, but I want to play through it more slowly this time so that I can get the bonus task as well.
