Anybody else notice this type of hex?

I'm pretty sure that's jungle. That's why I sometimes consider jungle fighting skill to be superior than that of plain fighting, as there are a few jungle tiles in the Ottoman empire and western America. I don't think there's any in north Africa though, maybe in Egypt and lybia, but I'm pretty sure there's none in French north Africa. 

Oh wow! That's good news. Its similar to how there are some mixed jungle and mountain terrain tiles right? Btw, why do you have desert fighting on Sidney, shouldn't you put desert fighting on a weaker cav gen (Stepanovic or even mcclelan)? 

I'm also going to be putting desert fighting onto one of my other gens. Right now its only prince Leopold, I'm thinking of putting it on Micis when I finish upgrading him to be usable for history. I'm probably just going to buy a new cav gen to put desert fighting on honestly. All the gold cav gens plus Sidney all are maxed, so I'm thinking McClellan?? Or maybe Bursilov so I could do the russian history mode mission more easily (I have only managed to get 3-stars once, and haven't gotten another 3-star ever since).

Yeah, I might consider him, but I would have to grind a lot to level him up, considering the fact that I pretty much have to buy the silver medals from the shop every time I want to rank up a general's title. So I pretty much have to grind medals from conquests and then save up for his rank upgrades, as he will take a lot to get him up to max-level (If I want to use him for challenge conquests he must be at least king with near-max skills. Even then, I think he has to be at least emperor to outclass joffre and Moltke, largely due to his cons of being a green gen). But then there's also the problem of his health % boost. My Moltke is upgraded to General, so he gives +70% health to units, while Joffre is upgraded up to Marshal, and you very well know that in order to survive in challenge conquest mode, your general's military rank must be at least general or higher (Except arty gens and maybe navy gens). Especially cav gens. But I think he's the best option at this point, as I'm probably going to spend my time doing 1861/65 normal conquests on nations I never completed with before to get medals fast. So I estimate it may take 2000 ish medals to make him maxed- silver medals alone already cost more than 1500 medals to level up to max rank. Also, do you get medals for re-completing challenge conquests? I have never tried that before, but that could be an easy way to farm medals once I finish doing all the countries in normal mode.
