Ok, here goes: I wanted Donitz very badly. As i progressed through Western '44 I did EVERYTHING to gridn enough medals for him. But then Battle of Midway happened. And I must confess that my desperation led me to buy Nagumo. Don't get me wrong, Nagumo's been ok, his damage is great but I feel like that Wolfpack ability and Warning are two things I am missing. I had 734 medals when I made the purchase. Should I return to my cloud save and get Donitz? And if so, how? Gerd von Rundstedt |

Gerd von Rundstedt If you still realllly want Doenitz, just go back to your save and wait a few days for the 70 medals, maybe try to perfect clear a few missions and that should be enough |

Nagumo should suffice in terms of in-game assistance. If you really want Dönitz as a gen in your collection, follow the above advice.
I cleared Axis 1945 Midway with lvl 2 navy and Ozawa as my main admiral. You don't really need more than two admirals if you can compensate with better tech.

Gerd von Rundstedt I finished the game with Nagumo as my Axis Admiral and I always have regretted to not have bought Donitz. But I think that as far as you got in the game, buying Donitz won’t help you very much because the rest of the campaigns won’t have much Naval combat. The last battle you’ll have is against Nimitz in Los Angeles and he’s not that hard to beat if you have good air support, but if you really want Donitz, load your old save and wait a little more to have enough medal for Donitz. |
