Hey I am new to the game so sorry if this is really a silly question. I don't see any difference after upgrading troops with stars. Can anyone clarify what these upgrades impact?

Hey I am new to the game so sorry if this is really a silly question. I don't see any difference after upgrading troops with stars. Can anyone clarify what these upgrades impact? The stats of a specific class (inf, arty, cav or navy) for that specific campaign will be improved OR you will be able to spawn higher quality units for a specific class (ie. machine guns for inf, rockets for arty, etc.). Unless you struggle badly with a specific campaign or intend to play without the use of gens, you shouldn't invest in upgrades. This is especially so since these upgrades affect only that specific campaign. Eg. Upgrades in Battle of Austerlitz will not influence your units in Fury of Prussia. In the end, just save them until you have a 5* trading gen to sell these stars for Medals. Medals are far more useful in the long run. |
