I have seen tons of different ways to grind medals and get higher rank for your generals. However, I tested one out (the battle of trafalgar one) and since it's only (I think) for medals, my generals weren't ranking up. Is battle of trafalgar a good way to grind medals? Because it seems that the only good thing about it is that it's very easy to set up. I have also seen ways to grind medals by either surrounding multiple cities by armored cars and by getting surrounded by tons of weak troops. What is more efficient for rank, and which one for medals? Or is battle of trafalgar the best one for medals? Has anyone ever tested out which one gives the most medals and highest rank?

You only get rank-experience with attacking - not for defending. For this reason, the trafalgar-grind won't rank you up twizardYou even can grind in the first mission. I found an nobility grind and even 5-10 medals you get for a quick playthrough of this mission.

Oh yeah I think Iβve seen something about grinding nobility in the first campaign mission (its the first French one right?). Also, I forgot that you donβt get rank from defending. Also I might try to do all 3 medal/rank grinding set-ups and test out which one is the best, although I do not know how to set up for example Poland 1775 (I think you can surround around 6 cities close to each other in the east and you can use 6 generals) and how to set up a lot of weak troops and be able to kill them all, but I might give it a shot.

The fastest way for me to get medals and rank/ nobility is to 5 star campaign missions and then buy all eight rank improvement items (2 each On War, Art of War, Crown, Sceptre) and then play with those items. Completing a 4 star conquest that way with 4 generals yielded hundreds of medals in cash and kind (i.e. Medals required to increase rank/ nobility).
My feeling is that conquests are actually designed as training missions for your squad. You should be hunting for the one path conquests where your team can work together, basically any corner country. That way you can eat up all the rank and nobility you can as you go across the map.

But why do you buy 2 of each? It doesnβt stack right? Or is it because theyβre all only available once, so you can have nobility and rank boost for 4 generals?

And no stuff. 1 hour to max 4 generals to 10 - in the first mission. Ok this is 4 times for 14 minutes blind tapping, but then your done! The nobility grind with the crown is too efficient, and you enjoy a conquest with +10HP per round - especially with a low rank. This is no blah - I never used 15 min

When I track how many medals are required for upgrading rank and nobility before and after a conquest. Usually about 100+ for cavalry and 50+ for other generals, but it's so much slower than an hour of tapping your device.

Too effective - the only grind I do - and when you do your first conquests: a 44-10 general counts - a lot! Now, I hope to find the crown in the shop, no matter the loss. Even without crown is a nobility grind a boost, it takes really long to get a general to nob 10 during the gameplay - one hour tapping- you don't have to look - here makes 'farming' sence.

Playing a conquest sounds way more fun than grinding. Also Portugal 1806 is also a good conquest where you have one path, and have to fight through a lot of enemies.

Most grinds even dont give rank-experience. I don't gind to get medals - there not necessary if you dont buy useless generals. Grinding refreshes - oh yes, I did a few. Nobility gind: If you do the princess run very early, the nobility grind is the easiest (and only) way, to get a few 50 years more. You can't get elite-princess without experience, with *farming* you can get nobility-experince lightnig fast. Thats it. It pays out. PS: For my testings to find out the princess formula, I had to max out(150-10) newbees: Quosdanovith, Arnold, Agha and Ferdinano. I used Battle of eylau.

Yeah I have noticed that it's very easy to get to max nobility, especially if you have 3 farms to steal and a crown.
