Bernadotte is tier 2 with 4 skills. He also isn't half bad for his price of 875. 875 medals? That is bad. Dobeln is better at inf and Fatima and Kosciuzko are better econ gens... so many decent t2 options that Bernadotte gets lost in the shuffle. Also he's a trainer and if you're gonna make use of a trainer gen, they should be good in combat and/or decent enough to function until you get another option. Sulkowski and Scharnhorst are two of the better examples of this. Bernadotte is neither |

Arnold's Spy goes BOOM! And Arnold's 5*s brings better trading rates.
I prefer having another offensive skill than an economic skill as a gen camping behind the front can be equipped with a Napoleonic Code and you'll usually have to fight to reach certain trading posts in many Conquests and Campaigns.
Plus, he looks close to being an endgame gen on his own. His Trainer just throws this role off.

As an econ general he doesn't have Architecture. As an infantry general he's not as good as Dobeln. As a trader he only has 4 stars.

Also, there are better alternatives to Bernadotte, both as a business general and as an infantry general. |
