Zhu De: Ignore the price
William Slim: A slightly better defense general than messe, only -300 medals cheaper
Charles de Gaulle: I mean, there's always Leeb
Jean de Lattre de Tassigny: You're not supposed to use infantry for defense guys.
Gamal Abdel Nasser: Pros: Infantry Rommel. Cons: Infantry Rommel
Frank Jack Fletcher: Hypothetically, if he had rumor instead of carpet bombing he would be better then kuznetsov. Hypothetically.
Fedor von Bock: Pretend Messe doesn't exist
Gotthard Heinrici: I am speed
Thomas Blamey: Desert Fox of artillery
Nikolai Kuznetsov: The first good bronze tier general on this list(to a casual player)

Hisaichi Terauchi: Better than Chuikov. Unfortunately Chuikov sucks (to a casual player)
Josip Broz Tito: Threatened to send an assassins after Stalin after Stalin sent 5 assassins after him. Shame that doesn't impress the AI

Hugh Dowding: Tied with Arnold for best air general (shut up yamamoto you're too expensive)
Henry H. Arnold: level 4 rumor bois
Omar Bradley: Enter Leeb
Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim: Amazing guy irl. in game not so much
Peng Dehuai: Gotta go fast!
Aleksandr Vasilevsky: Meh
Albert Kesselring: terrible in nearly every aspect
Zhang Zizhong: almost good. Almost
Edward Rydz-Śmigły: Konev is a much better infantry-artillery hybrid
Louis Mountbatten: Kuznetsov says hi
Walter Model: even Bock is better than this nerd
Semyon Timoshenko: can run circles around your enemies. Other than that, not so much.

Gerd von Rundstedt: same price as literally every silver tier infantry general at 40% discount, but with an extra skill slot
Karl Dönitz: A literal Mosasaurus
Konstantin Rokossovsky: i hope you have 5000+ medals to spare if you want to max him out
Douglas MacArthur: Pros: he can be a good tank hybrid. Cons: how do you use a hybrid
Heinz Guderian: If perfection is only in God's mind then how do you explain this
Isoroku Yamamoto: after buying and maxing Rokossovsky, i don't you have the medals to spare to buy him
Bernard Montgomery: has as much potenial as Rokossovsky, for the same price
George S. Patton: Burn you medals on maxing Roko or Monty
Tomoyuki Yamashita: As good as MacArthur but easier to use
Rodolfo Graziani: Very survivable, damage wise, not so much.
