Hello Everyone,
Just need some input so here a poll about what I should do next.
I have completed the European & Pacific fronts of the WWII section (not the hard missions yet) as well as some conquests of 1939 and 1943. I tried some NATO and WTO missions and felt that it was frustrating so want to invest my medals in something that will help me (got 1450 atm).
My current generals are:
- Messe (great soldier medal as well as victory medal - crowd-tactics) - Konev (no medals) - Guderian (added level 3 rumour as well as: hero medal - armored assault; assault medal - blitzkrieg; cross medal - panzer leader)
Currently I am torn between going for Leeb or upgrading Guderian rumour to lvl 5 and adding Konev to level 3 (or something else). Last time I played this game around this time I made a mistake of buying too many weak generals hampering the performance in later NATO and 1975 campaigns. But upgrading them too much will also be shite when they nuke them to oblivion hehe.
Greetings

Step 1: Rumor 3 on Konev, Guderian, and Leeb is enough Guderian: if possible, give him Explosives 1 Konev: Rumor 3, and if possible Explosives 1 Leeb: Rumor 3, at least Accuracy 1
Step 2: After that, unlock Rommel and Nimitz's 40% discounts and save medals for them. Rommel: Armored Assault, Blitzkrieg Nimitz: Rumor, and if possible Explosives 1
There! That is my setup when I beat WTO 6 and NATO 6 on normal difficulty. Also, prioritize getting the "80/100% chance of no retalation" on field/rocket artillery and "100% chance to attack again" on panzers.

There are really two options. You can get an infantry general that suits your playstyle after putting level 3 Rumor on Konev, or you can buy a tank gen afterward. Konev should do as an Artillery for now.
