In this century we see that beyond Politics and Science, Philosophy begins to take on a lot of Importance for the History of Humanity ... Voltaire Man is born bad and it is Society who corrects him Kant I donβt have a joke or a word to describe this man :/ but if he can be named by a word that word is INFLUENTIAL Emanuel Swedenborg man is born good and it is society that corrupts him Rosseau Men are wicked, yes, but man is good

I vote Voltaire, because I think all were equally influential, and Voltaire was a hilarious and brilliant guy, although I may disagree with him.

Rosseau. I mean, you are living in a democratic state because of him. He partly influenced the French revolution too.

Rousseau was not only a philosopher, he was an artist and composer (if I am not mistaken) and so he is very important in several fields (so I vote for him). Voltaire is not as important although he was a good author. Kant and Swedenborg, I will have to look at. I have never heard of them (shame on me)

I have never heard of them (shame on me) Rousseau's work in art, however is not really known and is noninfluential. However, Voltaire overturned many of the French Societal norms, making the time right for the development of Democracy in the (arguably) most powerful country in the world.
