The Soviet Union (also known as USSR or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) led the Communist bloc (or Warsaw Pact) in the cold war. And the world almost fell to communism in the peak of the cold war (1960s)

And the world almost fell to communism in the peak of the cold war (1960s) Really? Even a communist USA and GB? I think a better and accurate statement would be _ "The world almost fell into Nuclear Apocalypse during the height of the cold war (1960s courtesy the Cuban Missile Crisis and Arkhipov incident)

Mansa Musa made a hyperinflation in Egypt Paying more than he owed. Muammar al-Qaddafi was leader of Libya from the 1960s until 2011, i noticed before that Libya’s flag changed (the first time i saw it it was all green, then a few years later it was completely different)

In the 60'es only the USA had more than 30 000 ! nuclear weappons in service. Add them from the CCCP. Not one of these nuclear weappons was as small as fat boy (Hiroshima) or the testing bomb of Nagasaki, most of them many thousands of times more potent. A nuclear conflict could have transfered the earth into an astroid belt.

It is even easier to draw French flag of 1815

So you will be born between 1975 and 2007. The historical curiosities: It was the only one coloured flag. Today Libya has no official flag. Many times the flag from the Libyan kingdom (1950'ies and 1960'ies) is used instead.

The year was 1900, 'tis worth remembering The men who lived through 55 days at Peking T'was called the Boxers Insurrection of bloody oriental war Against all nations of the diplomatic core The flags of France and Britain How they fluttered in the breeze The Italian and the Russian and the flag of the Japanese Then came the sound of bugles And the rolling drums doom And the streets of Peking were as empty as a tomb
The Empress of all China gave the signal to begin And let the foreign devils be driven from Peking They stormed the French Legation They attacked with shot and shell And they came in blood red blouses Screaming shashow as they fell The drums have long been muffled The bugles cease to ring But through the ages, you can hear them echoing
