This is my second run in this game, in my first run I finished all the game except the Han campaign/conquest. I lose all my progress when I clicked 'save' instead of 'load' in a new cellphone and I was too mad to play all again till the recent updates.
In my first run my opinion about march skill and geography was top tier. Antony was my favorite gen, I removed Vercingetorix because he was too slow and I disliked archers gens for the same reason, even if their damage was great.
But now.. gens got a extra slot for artifacts and many of these artifacts are speed related. Antony is not longer number 1 calv, if you want a fast calvary gen for conquest you can put items to huo/arminius and they will have same speed than antony whit lv3 march, in campaigns now antony gets greatly outperformed because crazy speed isnt necessary. Vercin(and others inf gens whitout march) and archers gens are now fixed and great.
What I am trying to say is the 'fast' gens that outshined others because of their speed are not longer that good. Don't get me wrong, these skills still good, but not Top 1 as they used to be. Whit the updates many slow generals are worth considering over fast generals.
Pd:The only thing holding Antony is Calvcommander, but still for me scipio is N3 and Antony N4. You can put the geography and +3 range item to commius, he will have same speed than antony in conquest but whit siege. The fast calv city cracker you need.

Why you don't imagine Antony with recover ability or with additional lvl 3 march 🤣 or with Gram. I think it's same as before, but the game become easier with these artifacts. I complete the game (including newest update until now) and still thinking fast generals still the best candidate for battle.

In fact, I personally never was a big fan of Antony. Less so nowadays. He is quite good in speed runs, but only to a certain extent. To get higher score we have to use only one or two generals and most likely these will be our Commander and Pompey.

Sorry, puchao, but have to disagree on this one. Instead of trying to compensate for the lack of that mobility (extremely important end-game/quality of life) using very valuable Artifact slot. I will take Antony with Golden Spear and good artifact like Dragon Tripod any day. There are only 2 speed artifacts that are way better used on other non-mobile heroes. Throw Golden Feathers on your puncher cav (Hannibal if you have him, Arminius otherwise) and Dragon Tripod on Antony and your pair of cavs (plus pacorus as a bonus) will destroy anything. Art of War is better used on Verx.

What I tried to say is, if you want Antony speed for a conquest(because his speed isn't needed in campaigns), you can put 2 speed items/artifact to either Arminius/Huo/commius and that's it, instead of spending almost 700 medals for Antony. Personally, I use Arminius and Huo whit offensive builds in both, campaigns and conquests, they do the job fast in conquests so I don't see what Antony offers. My slow gens(archers and infs whitout march) use only 1 speed related item/artifact. Rn I am using Labienus more than crassus as my second main inf. Whit Huo and Arminius

Whit Huo and Arminius This is example what March generals can give you (Especially Crassus and I didn't use item swap). 2nd turn and 1 lvl 5 city, it's not bad for the speedrun conquest. (Han conquest if you want to check). The weakness of Antony is he's very easy to die , I usually use him most for ocupying blank city, not for facing generals.

Oh wow you really took that city turn 2 while I struggled to finish off Nabataean and that was their last city. 😂 Yeah march in Crassus is great(and in Pompey btw), recently I am using Labienus more than Crassus, but Crassus has a permanent primary spot for conquests.
