After much fighting, the whole of Tuscany cedes to the nationalists and signs the peace treaty, giving up all claims to the region and passing them to the people of Italy. Seeing this, the Duchy of Parma decides to pass a referendum on the idea of a union with the now United Kingdoms and Republics of Italy, the results being tallied on the next page. The United Kingdoms and Republics of Italy denounces the rule of the Pope ( Gerd von Rundstedt ) in Italy and calls for a joint effort with Manfred von Richthofen to free Rome from theocracy. we will send 30,000 men to invade The Papal States and some Navy to bombard Rome |
