Axis gens: Leeb, Rommel
Alliés gens: Mac Arthur, Montgomery
And obviously all the free ones before 1944
I perfected the first 2 campaigns. I have around 1400 medals.
Which generals should I buy ?
From what I understand, you need to get gens for 1945 Pacific. I guess I can take 2 more generals before that, perfect the 3rd and 4th campaigns to get 2 other naval gens before starting 1945 pacific.
I've also seen that Guderian would be a must. But I don't know if I should invest already in naval gens.

In order of priority: Guderian/Yamashita/Rundstedt, Govorov/Patton, Yamashita/Guderian/Rundstedt, Patton/Govorov, Rundtsedt/Guderian/Yamashita, Tassingy/Slim.
My preferred core lineup is two inf, 2-3 tank and 1-2 arty, which is the basis for this. 1944 may start you off with one heavy and medium tank or allow for this using Reinforcement, so having two tank gens is a good choice for both sides.
Alternatively, picking the best Allied arty gen over a 2nd Allied tank gen is not too bad because starting with Govorov on a Katyusha on any campaign is almost as good as starting with Patton on a KV-4.

However no navy gen at all ? Or should I temporize Rundstedt/Patton/Yamashita after getting Guderian and Govorov to get 2 navy gens ?
I guess navy tech can help to get through missions in Pacific 1942, but will it be enough for 1945 ?

I would suggest air general than Naval General since both Ozawa and Riccardi has been a great naval general. If you need to complete naval star achievement then buy Yamamoto or Buy Kesselring if you like a paratroop gen. But you will probably need a naval gen for challenge mode tho |
