runstedt , better prepare for a fatal blow in ur logic
ushijima suck at light arty
1 arty purpose is to outrange enemies ( no counter attack ) so desperate go hot garbage
2 crowd tactics trash at ushijima bc arty heatlh trash and easily lost stacks bc of a ambush so u need monies to replenish ( to make ct work )which is not cheap
3. scout suck if ya have high tech and arty cannot use radio ( to detect ) so it is trash
and his stat ? only 2 star arty ( like bock ) so verdict

All of his skill is for an Infantry general. Crowd tactic since you will always max stack your infantry. Desperate is the only one which is sucks. But since infantry will play a huge role (protecting or capture keypoints), they will be the one who will always be attacked by enemy unit thus making desperate good for Infantry except it just reduce a little which is the worst part. Scout is the only useful skill for both artilery and infantry, artilery has better sight (2 tiles or more depend using SF or not)which is really helpful to find enemies, While infantry is a versatile units (terrain only affect a litlle mobility) making them will move faster towards battlefront thus they will easier to find and face enemies. So overall he is not trash especially he has 3 star inf which mean he is inf gen not Arty gen. But he is way overprice, giving a star on air/infantry and change his desperate skill will make him a little worthy. Any way, why the hell does this ushijima trash become a popular thread?

No survivability. CT doesn't work when you are dead, and CT doesn't work well with the rest of his inf. And say desperate is good to a good tank general. He will fall into chaos by laughing so hard. Arty is slow, and inf is pretty slow and has low sight. Scout is hot garbage as your tanks will have seen everything. |

Alright, if you use him as arty gen, give him Maresal (High Mobility+ ushi mobility star will make the arty movement not slow also promote his Sight) as you probably will give your main arty gen (Leeb/badoglio) a Elefant. If you use him as Infantry gen, give him Grenadier/Wiking (Grenadier has huge mobility also damage reduction which is good/Wiking as Infantry-Artillery killer). And For Scout, well ushi doesnt have a great damage then scout will useful mainly since he will rarely kill units so he will lack of xp. Tank might see the enemies first but arty has better sight so they will usually able to see enemy 2-5 tiles away further. Anyway what's the point of saying ushi trash? I know it's to prevent people from buying it but Who are gonna buy him anyway? We already had tons of general path, and everytime people ask what general to buy they never mention ushijima. Only gerdy has him so just stop this whole thing  |
