Ok , so gen patton is kinda garbage ( i have too use him cuz at least he is better than timo ). He have panzer leader but his panzer leader rarely triggered so he have to rely in special forces ( KV6) andkv6 dead , he will be a sad puppy and barely kill a tank ( even through i give him a damage promoted T28 ) , his blitzkreig is good but trash at heavy tank . He sometime do some useless trigger . U can say , he is a med gen but guess what , he suck in medium , i have max tech and i put him in medium tank give kv 2 lv 2 and he do 50+ damage on a inf...... his accuracy strike trash bc his damage suck at tank

At least he has blitzkrieg unlike other allied tankers. This. The only saving grace for Patton, and the most compelling reason to place him on a medium tank. He can brawl with other enemy generals quite well due to Blitzkrieg. As long as your general only has stars, and not tide of iron or other assault skills, the damage will be about that range. You can't go around expecting Guderian or Rommel level hits from them.   
Comparison with Monty who doesn't have any extra boosts either.   |

And AS deals additional damage to special forces, not in, you can get rid of enemies SP more quickly with him, not really good but acceptable skill in some situation (and almost enemy generals come with SFs). |

That's actually quite high. So either your luck is down or it's bugged. And he doesn't have anti-armour so why kill tanks? And Patton's skills are not very damage oriented to regular units without SF, some for defending in a way. It's like Mannerheim. Appears to be a god at damage, then you realize he is oriented towards one kind of butchering. You are lucky if Blitzkrieg triggers, so don't push your luck in PL too (6% of both triggering). It's like DPS (damage per second) and TDO (total damage overall). Consider DPS to be per turn. Monty has same DPS, but worse TDO. Why? Because Monty can't survive running as long as Patton. |

Looking at all the Allied tank generals, Patton is the only medium tanker because he's the only one with blitzkrieg. I am not sure how viable medium tanks are in later campaigns but I am assuming that you at least need one medium tanker. Patton is the best option because he is the only option.
