naveenhanza, March to Italy is hell without proper tech and generals. Though I passed it barely with just 1 secondary objective with MacArthur, I paused the game to improve my tech and get better generals. I suggest you Vatutin (If you want power, which I recommend), Rokossovosky (Less strength than Vatutin, but more mobile and still hits good). Why Monty when you have them?

Just perfect cleared 3rd battle of Alamain with what I had, Seems like I can carry on Axis for some time, I should definitely invest in Allied general, I currently got about 700medals, Who will be better at the moment, Montgomery/Rokossovsky/Vatutin or Govorov, For me, Chuikov is decent, I am in march to Italy 1944, All the other allied campaigns are perfect cleared. I would get a heavy tank gen. There is a debate over who is better between Monty/Roko/Vatutin but I think you should be fine with either one. The difference is pretty small, although Vatutin is more friendly towards the player because you don't need to think as much and you can pretty much just rampage and shoot anything you want.

I need to catch up then lol. Also, for the question about Monty, he does more damage than Roko, is still mobile, has better mechanist and his only downside is ace forces vs anti armour. I would say Monty is about tied with Roko, but Monty is in 3 theaters compared with Roko and Vatutin's 1.

I'm Blitzkrieging as my usual Napoleon self And I wouldn't worry about slots as of now because we can switch accordingly. Especially because I now have only 1 allied general

Especially because I now have only 1 allied general I'm taking a bit of a break and perfect clearing 1942 Pacific (Already perfect cleared 1941 africa lol). I also cleared a lot of Army Groups because I find that mode very fun. I think I could probably finish 1944 with my current lineup (Rommel, Guderian, Leeb, Yamashita, Patton, Monty, MacArthur) but I don't really want to. Perfect clearing pacific is a pain because I don't have any good naval generals but if I perfect clear it, I will unlock 500 medals from 1942+1941 Africa so I will continue trying.

Good luck, I recommend having a air general, My Kesselring perfect won the last mission of Axis 1942 Pacific. My strategy was to capture one airport near Nimitz and Fletcher and Torpedo bomb them till death. And his buff helped the 2 aircraft carriers. My Navy tech was 2 and air tech was 1(lol) You will win it with better tech.

Especially because I now have only 1 allied general On that note, I’ve reached March on Italy and I have Monty, MacArthur, and the free generals. I don’t know who I should get next, because the first 1944 WF mission for the Axis seems impossible without another general, yet I get the distinct impression I really need another Allied General. For the Axis, I have Leeb, Guderian and the free generals

I think you should get Govorov.
